Leading Well Means Letting Go...
Leadership in ministry is a calling.
It’s a beautiful, often overwhelming, pressure-filled kind of work that stretches your heart, your schedule, and your capacity.
It also comes with a lot of emails, appointments, text threads, phone calls, flyers, budget approvals, planning meetings, calendar conflicts, and, oh yeah, remembering to eat lunch.
If you’re a leader in ministry, chances are you’ve found yourself juggling both the spiritual and the logistical… sometimes at the same time. You can be praying for someone while your phone dings with another reschedule request. You can be pouring into your team while also mentally scanning your to-do list of what hasn’t gotten done yet.
You love serving. But if you're honest...
you're exhausted trying to keep everything (and everyone) afloat.
Ministry doesn’t mean you have to be everything to everybody.
And being called doesn’t mean you were meant to do it all alone.
Maybe you're the one people call for support, guidance, or a last-minute fill-in. You’re the “Can you just take care of this?” person. The "I know it's late notice, but..." responder. The first one to arrive and the last one to leave.
You’ve shown up faithfully.
But now, it’s time to show up for you, too.
This message isn’t to tell you to do more.
It’s to remind you that you can do less and still honor your calling.
That’s why I created ServeAssist.
It’s virtual administrative and project support designed with ministry leaders in mind because the mission doesn’t have to mean burnout. From calendar management and email sorting to event planning and behind-the-scenes coordination, I help you take things off your plate without missing a beat.
So if you’re managing people, paperwork, potlucks, and prayer lists all on your own, it’s time to breathe.
Your ministry deserves order.
Your vision deserves support.
And you deserve a lunch hour.
